APPSC Group A and B Technical Recruitment 2026: 192 Posts, Eligibility and Apply

The short answer is that APPSC is running two related but separate technical recruitment notices, not one combined 192-post form. Part-I covers agriculture, horticulture, veterinary, sericulture and dairy-development roles; Part-II covers finance, treasury and prosecution-law roles. The notices share the Arunachal Pradesh residence, APST and tribal-language framework, a common broad written-examination structure and a ₹200 online fee, but the post qualifications and application dates are different. Use the exact part and post row that matches the qualification evidence you can document; this guide explains the published rules without deciding an individual applicant's eligibility.

Part-I (Advertisement No. 04/2026) totals 155 posts. The largest groups are Veterinary Officer with 66 posts, Horticulture Development Officer with 45 and Agriculture Development Officer with 42. It also lists one Assistant Director (Sericulture) post and one Dairy Development Officer post. The first four rows are Group-A Level 10 posts with the published pay scale of ₹56,100–1,77,500; Dairy Development Officer is Group-B Level 6 with ₹35,400–1,12,400. The notice separately identifies six PwBD-reserved posts within the total. Vacancy and reservation figures remain the notice's published requisition and should not be converted into a promise of appointment.

Part-II (Advertisement No. 06/2026) totals 37 posts: seven Finance and Accounts Officer/Treasury Officer posts, seven Sub-Treasury Officer posts, five Assistant Director (Prosecution) posts and 18 Assistant Public Prosecutor posts. The published pay levels are Level 10 for FAO/TO, Level 7 for Sub-Treasury Officer, Level 10 plus the stated special-pay condition for Assistant Director (Prosecution), and Level 8 for Assistant Public Prosecutor. One PwBD-reserved post is noted in the Part-II table. The finance and law routes are not interchangeable: the notice uses subject-specific graduation conditions for the first two and substantial law-practice or Magistrate experience for the latter two.

Both advertisements state mandatory Arunachal Pradesh conditions alongside the post qualification. The notices require the applicant to be an Indian citizen and an inhabitant of Arunachal Pradesh holding a valid Permanent Residence Certificate issued by the designated authority. They also require original inhabitant and Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribe status through the stated APST certificate, plus the ability to speak an indigenous tribal language of Arunachal Pradesh and working knowledge of the local indigenous tribes under the referenced government notification. Keep the PRC, APST certificate and any language-related evidence beside the application record. The Commission's verification controls remain decisive; a form submission or later admission is not an individual eligibility decision.

The two notices publish the same broad written-and-viva structure: General English and General Studies (objective) for 150 marks, Concerned Subject Paper-I (descriptive) for 150, Concerned Subject Paper-II (descriptive) for 150, and viva-voce for 50, making 500 marks in total. To qualify for the interview or viva-voce, the notice states an aggregate threshold of 33% in the written examination and at least 20% in each paper or subject. For PwBD candidates, the stated thresholds are 20% in aggregate and at least 10% in each paper or subject. The Commission may use a 200-mark objective Recruitment Test as a screening step if the number of applicants is above the requisite ratio; its marks are not used for the final order of merit. The notice says about 12 times the number of advertised posts may be admitted from the qualified recruitment-test pool to the written examination, subject to the Commission's decision.

The application route starts with One Time Registration on the official APPSC website. Applicants who already have an OTR account can log in and complete the relevant form. The Part-I notice says the online submission link is active from 17:00 on 10 September through before 17:00 on 30 September 2026. Part-II starts at 17:00 on 21 September and remains open through before 17:00 on 12 October 2026. The notices advise a single application. If more than one is submitted in an unavoidable situation, the application with the highest Registration ID is accepted and the fee paid against another Registration ID is not adjusted. The age reference is also part-specific. For Part-I, the notice sets 21 to 35 years as on 30 September 2026. For Part-II, it sets 21 to 35 years as on 12 October 2026. The published relaxations include up to five years for APST candidates, up to ten years for PwBD candidates in Part-I and up to 15 years for APST PwBD candidates, with the Part-II notice stating its corresponding APST and APST PwBD relaxations. Regular State Government employee concessions apply under the rules cited in the notices.
