RCFL Apprenticeship 2026-27 is a live application opportunity for 326 Graduate Apprentice, Technician Apprentice and Trade Apprentice positions at Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers Limited’s Trombay, Mumbai and Thal, Raigad units. The current RCF recruitment page shows the last date for online registration as 20 September 2026 at 5:00 PM, and the official application portal is reachable. AvsarIQ’s verified record classifies the opportunity as open and links the detailed advertisement, recruitment page and form. If you are considering this notice, the immediate work is to confirm your discipline, qualifying-course date, training location and document files before starting the online form. This is apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, not a promise of regular employment with RCF, so the service conditions matter as much as the headline number of seats.

Place your details beside the official requirements

The notice sets 18 years as the minimum age as on 1 September 2026 and generally shows an upper age limit of 25 for the listed apprentice categories, subject to the concessions and reservation rules in the advertisement. The qualifying course must be from a recognised university or institute and must be a regular full-time course. The notice excludes candidates who have already completed Act Apprentice training, have one year or more of job experience, or are pursuing higher studies. It also says that the qualifying final examination should have been passed on or after 1 July 2023. Allied branches of diploma engineering are not automatically accepted: match the exact discipline in the table rather than assuming a related subject will be treated as equivalent. Distance, part-time and correspondence qualifications are also excluded under the stated conditions.

  • Graduate routes include the discipline-specific B.Com, BBA or any-graduate qualifications shown for Accounts Executive, Secretarial Assistant and Recruitment Executive (HR).
  • Technician applicants should match the named diploma discipline; the advertisement lists Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Instrumentation and Mechanical routes.
  • Trade applicants must match the specific 12th-science or B.Sc. subject combination shown for the selected trade, including major-subject requirements where stated.
  • Keep mark sheets for all years or semesters and proof of the final qualifying result date because the advertisement uses both percentage and passing-date conditions.
  • Read the category-wise age relaxation and reservation provisions from the official notice instead of assuming a concession applies to every position.

Select one discipline and one training location

RCF’s online form requires a deliberate choice. The advertisement says a candidate may apply for only one discipline or trade and that multiple applications or multiple training-area choices can lead to rejection. The form also asks applicants to choose either Trombay or Thal. That posting choice cannot be changed later, and the final placement depends on the approved intake quota of the selected unit. The advertisement describes the training locations as the company units at Trombay in Mumbai and Thal in Raigad district. Both are practical decisions: choose a discipline you can document and a location you can actually join if called.

  1. Read the full RCF advertisement and identify one eligible discipline or trade.
  2. Choose either Trombay or Thal only after checking the location and the notified intake split.
  3. Prepare the scanned colour passport photograph in JPG or JPEG format up to 75 KB and the signature in JPG or JPEG format up to 25 KB.
  4. Keep qualification mark sheets, passing proof, age proof, category documents where applicable and the other documents listed for later verification ready.
  5. Complete the online form in one attempt, review every field, save or submit it, and print or preserve the generated application form and unique application number.

Selection, stipend and joining expectations

RCF says selection will be based on a merit list using the percentage in the prescribed essential qualification and applicable reservation. Candidates from the merit list are called for document verification. Appointment as an Apprentice Trainee follows successful verification and approval of the apprenticeship contract on the relevant NATS or NAPS portal. The notice also says that a CGPA or other grade must be converted to an equivalent percentage under the university or institute’s norms, with proof produced at verification. Meeting the minimum qualification alone does not guarantee selection.

Stipend totals shown in the detailed advertisement
Training groupTotal monthly amount shownImportant context
Graduate Apprentice₹17,300RCF and BOAT components are shown separately
Diploma Technician Apprentice₹15,900The advertisement lists RCF and BOAT components
Several trade categories₹17,300Attendant Operator, Instrument Mechanic and Laboratory Assistant are shown at this total
Other listed trades₹14,600Boiler Attendant, Electrician, Horticulture Assistant and MLT (Pathology) are shown at this total

The advertisement describes working hours of 9 AM to 6 PM for Graduate Apprentices and 8 AM to 5 PM for Technician and Trade Apprentices, excluding weekly offs and holidays. It also says the selected posting is non-transferable during the training period. The stipend table includes a component paid by the Board of Apprenticeship Training for some categories; RCF notes that it is not responsible for a delay or non-payment of the BOAT component. Most importantly, the notice expressly says the apprenticeship does not create a right or claim to regular employment with RCF during or after training.

Final application checklist for the remaining window

  • Confirm the form is for RCF ACT Apprentices 2026-27 and that the chosen discipline exactly matches the qualifying certificate.
  • Check the date of passing, percentage or equivalent percentage and age as on 1 September 2026 against the detailed notice.
  • Select Trombay or Thal once and do not submit a second application for another discipline or area.
  • Resize the photograph and signature to the stated limits before opening the form so the one-attempt process is not interrupted.
  • Keep the email address and mobile number functional through application and verification because RCF uses them for acknowledgement and later communication.
  • Submit before 5:00 PM on 20 September, print or save the application form, and retain the unique application number.
