This guide is based on the National Testing Agency's official Notice Board Archive and the ten-page scanned vacancy notification dated 2 September 2026. The most useful way to read this notice is as a document-and-skill check, not as a promise of a regular government post. The role is a full-time contractual engagement at NTA premises, and the application is an email submission rather than a standard recruitment portal form. Before preparing the email, compare your primary language, second language, typing evidence, education record and document bundle with the notice's Annexure-I fields.

Application Close
16 Sept 2026Eligible candidates should submit the Annexure-I application and required documents by email by 16/09/2026.

The notice is aimed at applicants who can work accurately across two languages and who are comfortable with document-heavy administrative work. NTA describes the work as bilingual typing, document processing, language support and administrative assistance. The job environment may include extended hours, weekends or holidays when operational requirements demand it, so the role should be assessed as a full-time office engagement rather than a casual typing assignment. The official record was checked on 15 September 2026; the deadline is close enough that applicants should prepare the form and evidence together rather than wait for a portal-style confirmation screen.

Language and skill checks to compare before emailing
CheckHow to interpret the noticeEvidence to prepare
Primary languageChoose the language for the language-specific vacancy and mention it in the email subjectAnnexure-I selection and any language certificate or work evidence
Second languageSelect a second language from the remaining language framework; proficiency is assessed in bothTyping-speed and accuracy proof for both languages
EnglishEnglish is included in the 13-language proficiency framework; an English typing gap at joining must be addressed within six monthsCurrent skill record and a realistic improvement plan if applicable
Speed and accuracyThe notice asks for at least 40 WPM with more than 90% accuracy in both languages, subject to practical verificationDocumentary proof plus readiness for a practical skill test
Work toolsWord, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF handling and document formatting are among the desirable skillsCertificates, samples or experience records where available

The vacancy count is language-specific, but the skill requirement is broader: the notice expects the selected candidate to read, write and type in two languages. Treat the primary language as the vacancy choice and the second language as a separate capability that must also be supported. The notice lists English alongside the other languages for the proficiency framework and says that English typing, if not already possessed at joining, must be acquired within six months. Do not rely on a general statement such as 'I know two languages'; record the languages, typing speeds and accuracy clearly in the form and attach the evidence the notice requests.

Qualification, age and useful supporting skills

Essential and desirable details in the notification
AreaOfficial requirement or preferencePractical preparation
Education12th standard or Higher Secondary or equivalent from a recognised Board or UniversityKeep the certificate and marksheets together with the application
AgeMinimum 21 and maximum 62 years on the date of applicationUse the date of birth proof to compare the range
Typing proof40 WPM or more with over 90% accuracy in both languages, verified through a practical skill testAttach proof and practise timed, accurate bilingual typing
Office skillsMS Word, Excel and PowerPoint are desirableList the tools you can use and relevant work examples
Document workPDF handling, scanning, conversion, file formats, proofreading, DTP, pagination, MIS and reporting are desirableDescribe specific document-processing or data-entry experience without overstating it

The essential section identifies the education, language and typing-related checks; the notice separately lists useful skills such as office applications, PDF conversion, scanning, proofreading, document formatting, pagination, MIS reporting and administrative support. It also mentions MathType and InDesign. The desirable list is a prompt to make relevant experience visible, not a reason to invent credentials. If you have no separate certificate for a desirable tool, describe the actual work you can document and let the authority assess it. Keep category or other supporting certificates ready where applicable, even though the vacancy is not presented as a standard reservation-based portal application.

How to apply by email before 16 September

  1. Download or reproduce Annexure-I from the official E-15326 PDF and choose one primary language clearly.
  2. Fill in personal details, date-of-birth information, education, both languages, typing speed and accuracy, skills, experience and the declaration fields.
  3. Prepare readable copies of photo ID, date-of-birth proof, education certificates and marksheets, category certificate where applicable, typing-speed and accuracy proof for both languages, experience certificates, CV and passport photograph.
  4. Use an email subject that mentions the primary language, as the notice instructs. Do not replace the language-specific subject with a generic job title.
  5. Send the completed Annexure-I and supporting documents to dir-admin@nta.gov.in early enough for the message to reach the authority by 16 September 2026.
  6. Retain the sent email, attachments, timestamp and a complete copy of the submitted form. The notification does not state a fee or a separate online registration number, so do not pay a third party or assume a portal acknowledgement exists.
Application bundle checklist
Document or fieldWhy it matters
Annexure-IThe prescribed form captures language choice, personal details, education, skills and declaration
Photo ID and date-of-birth proofSupports identity and the 21–62 age comparison
Education certificates and marksheetsSupports the 12th-standard or equivalent qualification
Typing-speed and accuracy proofSupports the two-language 40 WPM and more than 90% accuracy requirement
Experience certificates and CVMakes relevant document, language, data or office work visible
Passport photograph and applicable category certificateListed in the Annexure-I document enclosure fields

The official route is the email address printed in the notification, not a recruitment link copied from an aggregator. The deadline is expressed as the date by which the application should reach NTA, and the notice does not specify a clock time in the pages reviewed. That makes early submission important: a large attachment, an incorrect address, an omitted language in the subject or an unreadable scan can create an avoidable problem. Keep the email concise, name files consistently and check that every attachment opens before sending.

Selection process and what the skill test may check

  • NTA will scrutinise applications against the prescribed eligibility and relevant information.
  • Shortlisted applicants may be asked to attend a practical skill assessment and/or interview at a designated NTA premise.
  • The practical assessment may cover typing speed and accuracy in both languages, reading and writing, proofreading, transcription, formatting and error detection.
  • The notice also identifies MS Office, PDF handling, data or MIS reporting, MathType, InDesign and attention to detail as possible work attributes.
  • NTA may prescribe additional tests, and the competent authority's decision is final under the general conditions.
  • Satisfying the listed conditions does not guarantee shortlisting or selection.

Applicants should prepare for a demonstration of real document work, not only a written eligibility check. Practise switching between both languages, preserving formatting, correcting typographical and grammatical errors, and producing clean files under time pressure. The notice allows for a practical assessment and/or interview, but it does not promise that every applicant will be called. A complete email therefore improves the clarity of the record; it does not remove the authority's discretion to shortlist, test or reject applications.

As of the 15 September 2026 verification, this remains a current, open NTA opportunity in AvsarIQ's live record with the official PDF and archive entry available. The clearest action is to use the original notification, complete Annexure-I carefully and email the full bundle before the stated 16 September deadline. If NTA posts a corrigendum or changes the official route, follow the later official notice and treat this guide as a reading aid rather than a substitute for the source.
