Bank of Baroda Recruitment 2026 is open for 1,100 regular vacancies under advertisement BOB/HRM/REC/ADVT/2026/17: 1,000 Wealth Executive posts in JMG/S-I and 100 Credit Analyst-C&IC posts in MMG/S-II. The official notification sets online registration and fee payment from 4 September through 24 September 2026, while the live IBPS application portal shows 24 September as the closing date for registration, editing and fee payment and 9 October as the last date for printing a submitted form. The two posts do not have the same qualification or experience rule. Wealth Executive requires graduation plus one listed insurance or securities certification and two years of relevant wealth-product sales experience; Credit Analyst-C&IC requires graduation, Chartered Accountant qualification and at least one year of banking experience in a Scheduled Commercial Bank. This guide separates those routes, the current vacancy and reservation tables, age and fee rules, possible selection stages and the application checklist. It explains the official criteria beside the live AvsarIQ record; it does not decide whether an individual candidate will be shortlisted or appointed.

At a glance: two posts in one notification

The headline total is useful only when it is read with the post name. The Wealth Executive route accounts for most of the vacancies and is a JMG/S-I regular officer position. The Credit Analyst-C&IC route is a separate MMG/S-II position with a Chartered Accountant requirement and banking-experience gate. Both are pan-India postings, and the Bank says applicants should apply only if they are willing to serve anywhere in India. The notification also says the Bank may modify the number of vacancies according to its requirement, so the vacancy table is the current advertised position rather than a promise of final appointment numbers. Keep the post code, qualification documents, category certificate and acknowledgement number aligned with the particular route selected in the application.

Credit Analyst-C&IC100MMG/S-II21 to 33 yearsGraduation in any discipline plus Chartered Accountant qualification and banking experience

Wealth Executive: 1,000 posts

The Wealth Executive position is in the Wealth Management Services department, at JMG/S-I. The mandatory academic route is graduation in any discipline from a recognized institution plus any one of four valid certifications listed in the notification: IC 38 from the Insurance Institute of India; NISM Series V-A for Mutual Fund Distributors; NISM Series XXI-A for Portfolio Management Services Distributors; or NISM Series V-D for Mutual Fund-Specialised Investment Fund Distributors. The notice separately describes a preferred two-year full-time postgraduate degree or diploma in management, including MBA options in Finance, Marketing or Banking. Preferred wording should not be read as a substitute for the mandatory certification and experience conditions.

  • Age range for the unrelaxed General category is 22 to 32 years as on 1 September 2026.
  • Minimum two years of post-qualification experience is specified in sales of wealth products with a public-sector, private-sector or foreign bank, broking or securities firm, asset-management company or wealth-management company in India.
  • The preferred management qualification is additional context; the mandatory listed certification remains part of the basic application route.
  • The selected candidate may be posted to any Bank branch or office or any place in India, so a location preference should not be assumed from the application page.

Credit Analyst-C&IC: 100 posts

The Credit Analyst-C&IC position is in the Corporate and Institutional Credit department, at MMG/S-II. Its mandatory qualification is graduation in any discipline plus Chartered Accountant qualification. The notification requires at least one year of banking experience in a Scheduled Commercial Bank; experience in Corporate Credit is preferred. The experience clause has an important counting rule: post-qualification experience of less than six months in any organization as on 1 September 2026 is not counted, except where that experience is part of the current employment, and experience in the Clerical cadre is not counted for eligibility. Applicants should therefore preserve employer, role, joining and qualification records rather than relying only on a general banking job title.

  • Age range for the unrelaxed General category is 21 to 33 years as on 1 September 2026.
  • Graduation and Chartered Accountant evidence must come from the recognized sources described in the notification.
  • The one-year banking requirement is distinct from the preferred Corporate Credit experience; meeting the preferred profile does not remove the documentary requirement.
  • A candidate should not submit multiple applications to cover both positions: the notification says only one application should be submitted and the latest valid completed application is retained if multiple registrations are made.

Age relaxation, reservation and all-India posting

The current reservation table allocates the 1,000 Wealth Executive posts as SC 150, ST 75, OBC 270, EWS 100 and UR 405. It provides 40 horizontal PwBD points, shown as 10 each for LD, HI, VI and d&e. The 100 Credit Analyst-C&IC posts are shown as SC 15, ST 8, OBC 27, EWS 10 and UR 40, with four horizontal PwBD points, one in each listed disability grouping. Category and disability benefits depend on the prescribed Government of India certificates and the reservation points available for the post. The notification gives five years of SC/ST age relaxation and three years for OBC non-creamy-layer candidates, with separate PwBD and ex-servicemen relaxations stated in the notice. Check the exact category wording and certificate format before completing the form; a profile comparison cannot replace that document check.

Fee, payment window and service conditions

The notification lists application fees and intimation charges inclusive of GST as ₹850 plus payment gateway charges for General, EWS and OBC candidates, and ₹175 plus payment gateway charges for SC, ST, PwBD, ESM and Women candidates. The fee is non-refundable even if an online test is not conducted or the candidate is not shortlisted for interview. The official PDF and live portal both place the application and fee-payment window in the 4-24 September period. Complete the payment before the closing date and save the acknowledgement number, final application copy and e-receipt. The notification also states a three-year service bond for selected regular officers: the current terms describe a three-month gross-salary amount capped at ₹2 lakh for JMG/S-I and ₹3 lakh for MMG/S-II if the minimum service is not completed. The offer letter and prevailing Bank policy control the final bond terms.

Selection process and tentative online test

The Bank does not promise one fixed selection sequence for every position. The notification says the process may comprise application scrutiny, an online test, a psychometric test or another test considered suitable, followed by Group Discussion and/or interview or multiple interview rounds. Shortlisting may consider test performance, qualifications, relevant experience, domain expertise, skill set, suitability and other criteria determined by the Bank. The shortlisting criteria are internal and confidential, and satisfying the minimum criteria does not automatically entitle a candidate to an interview. If the Bank decides to conduct the tentative online test, the notification shows 120 questions, 120 marks and 120 minutes: English Language 20/20/20 minutes, Reasoning Ability and Quantitative Aptitude 20/20/20, General/Economic and Banking Awareness 20/20/20, and Professional Knowledge related to the position 60/60/60. The first three sections are qualifying in nature, and the notice provides a 0.25-mark penalty for each wrong answer. The test date, if held, is to be advised separately.

How to apply without losing the record

Use the official IBPS-hosted Bank of Baroda portal linked from the Bank's current-opportunity page. Read the notification before selecting the position because the portal's validation does not replace the Bank's document scrutiny. Enter the category exactly as intended: the notification says a category change is not permitted after registration. Upload the required photograph, signature and supporting material in the prescribed form, review the one-application rule, pay the applicable fee within the window and download the completed application and acknowledgement. If the portal shows a printing period after registration closes, use it only to retrieve a form that was already submitted; it is not a new registration window.

  1. Open the official BOB/HRM/REC/ADVT/2026/17 notification and decide which of the two post-specific routes matches the documents you hold.
  2. Check the age cut-off of 1 September 2026, recognized-qualification wording, certification or CA requirement and experience-counting rule.
  3. Register through the official IBPS portal, complete one application only and verify the category, position and contact details before final submission.
  4. Pay the applicable fee by 24 September 2026, including gateway charges, and save the acknowledgement number and e-receipt.
  5. Download or print the final application before 9 October 2026 and keep copies of the notification, certificates, qualification records and experience proof together.
  6. Monitor Bank of Baroda Current Opportunities and the registered email for any call letter, test, psychometric, Group Discussion or interview instruction.

Document checklist for a clean submission

  • Graduation mark sheets or certificate from a recognized institution for either route.
  • One listed valid Wealth Executive certification, or Chartered Accountant evidence for Credit Analyst-C&IC.
  • Experience documents showing the relevant employer, function, dates and post-qualification basis; exclude clerical experience from the Credit Analyst calculation where the notice does so.
  • Category, EWS, PwBD or ex-servicemen certificates in the prescribed format when claiming a benefit.
  • Photograph, signature, identity and contact details in the portal's required format.
  • Application acknowledgement, fee receipt, final form and the email account used for recruitment communication.

What the current record means after submission

The live opportunity is currently marked open and verified across multiple official sources, with the 24 September application close. That status can change if the Bank posts an extension, corrigendum, vacancy modification or later selection notice. The current 1,100 figure is the advertised indicative scope for this notification, not an appointment guarantee. Applicants should use the final submitted form as the record of the position and category selected, keep proof of payment and watch the official Bank page rather than relying on a forwarded message. A submitted application, a shortlist, a call letter and an appointment are different stages. AvsarIQ places the structured live record beside the source material so that changing dates and status remain visible; the Bank's notification and later official communication control.

Official links and source note

Read the official Bank of Baroda Wealth Management Services opportunity page and the Corporate and Institutional Credit opportunity page. The controlling BOB/HRM/REC/ADVT/2026/17 notification PDF contains the detailed qualification, reservation, fee, experience, selection and service-bond wording. Use the official IBPS application portal for registration, editing, payment and application printing. The portal warns that submitting an online form does not itself establish that all criteria have been fulfilled; subsequent scrutiny can reject an application that does not satisfy the notification.
