The marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination (Tier-I) and the Descriptive Test shall not be considered for preparation of the final merit list for selection.; A candidate can apply and appear for either of Generalists or Hindi Officers and not both. Not more than one application should be submitted by any candidate.; The vacancies are substantially in Western and Southern Zones; candidates selected are likely to be posted mostly there, with initial period of posting minimum five years; candidates are liable to be posted/transferred to any location in the Country.
