An applicant must either be (i) a citizen of India, or (ii) a subject of Nepal, or (iii) a subject of Bhutan, or (iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or (v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India; provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India before the date of this notification.

Candidates who have not studied the local language in 10th or 12th standard must take the qualifying LLPT; candidates who studied it must submit documentary evidence for exemption.; test conditions: The Online Written Test has negative marking of one-fourth of the marks assigned to each incorrect answer. Minimum qualifying marks are 40% for General/EWS in each section and 35% for Reserved category in each section, subject to the Bank’s stated discretion. The Personal Interview is of 50 marks with minimum qualifying marks of 45% for SC/ST candidates and 50% for other candidates.; application rule: Application can be submitted for one State only; merit is drawn State-wise and category-wise. Selected candidates will be posted within the selected State until completion of nine years of service or promotion to SMG Scale IV, whichever is earlier.; selection stages: The selection process shall be conducted in phases: Online Written Test, Screening, Local Language Proficiency Test where required, and Personal Interview; the Bank reserves the right to decide whether all or any modes shall be adopted. The final selection is based on combined Online Written Test and Personal Interview performance, subject to qualifying in the LLPT where applicable and satisfying eligibility/document verification.; documents and certificates: Candidates must produce original and photocopy documents supporting identity, nationality, age, educational qualification, experience and applicable category benefits at interview or subsequent stages. Candidates serving in Government/Quasi Government offices, PSUs, nationalised banks or financial institutions must produce a No Objection Certificate.
